Got this in email from one of my frd
hello saurabh, i have been a member of this group for a long time now. and now is the time i need some help from all hightime gadget gurus.
i used to use a nokia 9500 communicator, which has very recently waterlogged by my dear daughter. fortunately i had taken the backup on the SD (memory) card.
now when i am trying to convert the data from the memory card to microsoft office outlook, it is giving me an error saying filetype does not recognize. i tried to find out the details.. the issue here is nokia uses an OS which is symbion or something like that and when the backup is taken from the cellphone, it comes with the file ext *.CDB, which is not recognized by either microsoft outlook or outlook express.
i need all the data back on urgent basis as my daughters birthday is close and i need to invite.
please and please help me getting the data back.
please help guys
regards
pallavi/ ashutosh
Guys please do add solutions if u know by replying here Thanks

Bro u cant access the data on ur Outlook as the Mobile uses a different OS and and our Computer OS is Different but if u have the backup try to restore it on another Mobile phone and you may have back the Data or try to restore the same Data on some another 9500 if u got any of it amongst ur friends or someone. Or just try to Contact Nokia Priority Center and they may help u get ur Data Back.
Wishing You Good Luck that u have ur data back coz i know that when we loose our Data how does it feels coz i had lost my huge Backup of Messages & Contact Numbers as i had to Format my cell as it was attacked by a virus which Corrupts ur IMEI but thnx GOD that today my cell phone is working good again and also wishing that u may also get ur Data back again.
