Is Indian Cinema Doing Enough For Children's Entertainment?
Indian Cinema which is more keen on projecting the scripts of underworld dons, successful thieves, sex and murders filled in the movies; have no time to think about the children. Not a single film is made by reputed filmmakers like for children. How can you decide about their contribution to this film industry, without a message for today's children ?
Even technology wise, our animation industry is way behind the international scene. There is no shortage of folk tales which can be made into sucessful ventures (even financially) but the film fraternity lacks the will and posible techinal expertise.
Films are considered to be a medium to pass a message to the society and especially to the children; when we find them following a wrong path to earn quick money. In India, playing with the sentiments and emotions of people has become a good business for bolywood. So, why should they worry about other's children, when their own children are running the same trade, with blessings of cinema lovers.
