hi am jithu here we had a program at out coll and we have cd of it but when we asked the guys said that the cd is write protected and we have to pay heavy price to get that i want to know what this write protect means and how is it done and is there anyway to copy that cd.

Hey dude all cds bcome write protected whn we write 1st time with cd-writer .except rewritable cds. i m confused wht question r uasking? ?

the guys who told me that the cd is write protected meant that we cant copy the cd. we can see the contents but we cant make a copy of it (like the one we give in floppy but here it is some software stuff ) dont know much that is y i posted it here

man.. depends on wat ur cd it.. it doesnt matter if its write protected or not.. just copy it using nero..
try out ur burned cd.. if it still doesnt run.. google up for a no cd crack.. tht will be an end 2 ur problems den..
if u tell me wat cd r v tokin about.. tht will a help 4 me helpin u out

oh... one more thing...
use a software like clone cd.. it makes an exact duplicate of the original cd.. so u can pretty much copy ne cd...
