Summer Fashion
The long, sweaty summer season is here again. The season restricts people to wearing lighter fabrics like cotton, linen, organza and silk. Thus the fashion changes likewise. Summer calls for some minimalism in clothing. Some items of choice could be,
1. Sandals – Sandals or footwear that provide feet with plenty of breathing space are always perfect for summer months. Covered shoes may be worn in office environments where these are under mandatory dress code, but certainly not beyond office hours. Jute sandals are especially good; they provide ample space for your feet to breathe properly. Loose fitting leather sandals are also good. Rubber sandals are best avoided; these create pressure on the feet and leave nasty marks. However, carrying a couple band-aids is always a good idea, since both jute and leather sandals are unforgiving on the soft portions of the feet.
2. Large sized sun-hats – These are great for shielding the face from the harsh sunlight, especially when emerging from a relatively dark office. When spending a long time outdoors, these are especially good for protecting the eyes and the head. However, some of the available designs can make a person look rather old-fashioned, so choosing the right style is the key.
3. Shorter clothing – Shorts and short-sleeved T-shirts/Tops are always in on summer months and this year is no exception. Even rolled up trousers/Capri pants are good. These clothes allow a person to stay cool and sweat less even in the sultry summer days. Shorts do not mean hot pants, though. Those skintight shorts are for athletes only.
4. Polo Shirts – Definitely the most versatile kind of shirts to be worn in summer. Keeps a person cool and ready for any moment. Clubbing it with a pair of nice jeans will make the outfit casual. Again, throwing on a nice formal jacket will make the person feel right at home in corporate meetings.
5. Military outfits – Military clothes keep a person cool in the summer. Military shirts, trousers and jackets are a surefire way of staying cool under the burning sun. The cap is not to be forgotten, either.
6. Shades – Sunglasses are must-have accessories for any fashion-savvy person. Sunglasses with good protection against UV rays should be chosen. A 99% protection is best (specified in product literature) if found.
These points should help any fashion-conscious individual to rule the world of summer fashion.
